The latent Aura of Darkness
Muddy weather. Just above freezing temperatures. Rain. Washing over brown, unsightly leaves. Messengers of long-gone days when they adorned and stood for vibrant life. Spoiled by the sun.
Lonely steps on watered gravel. Squishy, dark crunching.
With each step through this surreal world, this fragrance absorbs your body heat. It uses it for itself. Surrounds you with an aura of ripe, crisp apple and the underlying darkness of oud. It continuously composes itself from warmth and something very dark. This work is only animalistic within 10 cm of skin proximity. The accord cultivates itself within the first hour. It becomes softer, sweet-sour, and pleasantly steps into the background. It gives everything a spice and beautiful darkness. Creates an almost shimmering aura of creamy and dark contrasts that fit together so wonderfully. Especially the white accords that strengthen after about 1.5 hours carry the gold DNA, which the gentler saffron brother Gold II also had.
I can recommend this fragrance to anyone who does not expect a gourmand where there is none; who is willing to take their time to engage their nose and themselves with this scent. The fragrance is beautiful from about 10 cm away from the skin and definitely unisex. If I may give this tip: Do not make the mistake of trying to perceive the scent directly on the skin. It could be, especially for oud newcomers, a bit too much of a good thing. Give the fragrance at least 1 hour on warm skin and it will carry you. For oud fans: The entrance is striking and a poem. Then feel free to sniff close to the skin. Especially within the first hour. :)
Mini addendum: After about 6 to 7 hours, an incredibly beautiful amber-musk note awakens, which also acts at the previously "dangerous" 10 cm skin distance after 10 hours and keeps bringing my nose back to the pulse. Perfect drydown. Impressive longevity.

Yes, it has almost the same oud-pepper accord at the beginning as Xerjoff's Zafar. It's really not bad.
