Overhyped, banking on 'Arabian Perfume House' to sell itself better
On YT is overhyped (payed? ) , on forums like this it gets wild praises.
So what's wrong?
Firstly, it' s the price, as this is a 500$ for 100ml Perfume, that starts by smelling like clothes softener, being sour in the middle, and faint away (totally) from the skin,after 2 hours. Even Marly, that everyone says it's diluted now, hangs on my skin for 4 hours now, with the final note.
The start is interesting for a few seconds to a minute, then the generic sourness and roses takes over (there are cheaper Roses Perfumes with far more complexity) .
I am sure mine was original (being bought from the UAE shop) , but I have to doubt the reviews.
This is the perfect example of what payed digital marketing can do.
Package and bottle were top notch (saw some European cases- not as good as the old UAE) .
Apparenly it was reformulated (announced officially, as `an improvement` ) , as of the day I write this extra info, in August 2025. I tested it shortly in a shop (on a strip) , although it' s different enough to say it' s different, it' s still kind of the same. So still not worth (my) money.
It sounds like you had a pretty frustrating experience with this fragrance! It's always disappointing when a highly praised scent doesn't live up to the hype, especially given the hefty price tag.

Nobody wanted to pay a 30% discount of it as sh from me, so it ended up being gifted. People want this cause it's expensive, and 'quality' , and not known, and whatever other overhypness that was pushed. And although it is quality in how the notes transition, how it's packaged and how balanced the notes are, the lack of originality, projection and lasting don't garnish the price tag.
In my case, I was just hunting for 'good arabian perfumes' .
