Very helpful Review

Simply pleasant
I actually review little to no after shaves. I do not shave every day, now in the pandemic even less often and more irregularly than before. Aftershaves are just not perfumes. They just serve their purpose for me. I don't have a set brand, and I'm even happy if they're not too fragrant so as not to get in the way of my perfumes. All reasons why for a while I was even critical of the fact that here on Parfumo aftershaves were given relatively equal and confusing status with fragrances. But now I see it more relaxed and am also able to give my mustard to some. Because a water like Wilkinson's "Classic" simply deserves it.
Endurance and strength I can disregard with most aftershave waters - totally to my satisfaction, in my mind. This one is no different. And the scent of this wallet-saving economy shave is basically not worth too many words, either. Classic, tart-fresh, green, slightly alcoholic and thoroughly masculine. A mossy lake at eight degrees. As an aftershave just "smell" must. It cleanses, it cares, it cools, it burns. It does its job effectively and rock solidly. And yet, there's something about this "Classic" that keeps me reaching for it. And it's not (just) the outrageously low price. It's its woodsy-grown dependability, its autumnal aura, its sharp friendliness that makes this green woodchuck stand out and hopefully never die. It doesn't get any better than "cheap-grass-grain." And for such "friends for a man's life", that's an outrageous insult anyway. Since Axe and Co. can fizzle by the dozen.
Flacon: 90s, simple and horny
Sillage: must not
with the After Shave Durability: s. one line higher
Conclusion: from the PLV a king among the after shaves. As a fragrance and as a shaving crown also close. Simply green, tart, woody and refreshing. Does excellently what it should. A classic in the (lower) drugstore shelf. This has already turned some bubis into men.
