Back in the Day
Early childhood. The absolute highlight was digging in the sandbox when it was noon and the playgroup went outside. We were outside back then, even when it rained. We still had immune systems.
And there was this bath product. In hindsight, I could almost swear that I often played in the dirt just to be able to bathe with it. It was wonderful. It was almost magical. It... is no longer produced. Hm (*sigh*).
Well, for me, it’s actually not a scent from which one should make a perfume. It belongs in the bathroom. It is the olfactory backdrop when flipping through old photo albums. It is a memory that fades in the stress of everyday life.
Not a scent to make a perfume from, yet how lovely that it was made anyway.
And now, looking at it from the outside:
Sooo: Cherry, raspberry, and magnolia I can immediately agree with. The magnolia leans slightly towards the well-known pink, shimmering shower gel. Significantly sweeter. If I didn’t know better, I would say it smells like a bath product ;).
For the rest, I really have to make an effort and let my imagination run wild. Even then, I maintain that much of it gets lost here.
Longevity is quite poor for me; I somehow only get about half an hour of it before the rather light scent evaporates. As for the projection: in one word: weak.
The bottle. Well, the bottle holds the liquid, right? Somehow it’s boring. Not everything that has a fabric flower is beautiful. Unfortunately, the fabric flower is what makes the bottle somewhat presentable.
Here my opinion plays a role again, but fabric elements on the bottle are like writing an exam in university with a pencil. You can do it, but it doesn’t count. What needs to be on it, needs to be on it. I also don’t like that about my Juicy Coutures, so it’s not specifically about this bottle. Therefore, let’s talk about the ratio of cap to bottle: the cap could have been round or the bottle a bit more angular, “cut.” As it is, it looks like cheap mainstream. Well, maybe appropriate for a bath product.
I don’t want to speak poorly of One. What comes across a bit awkwardly in this comment is an attempt to look from the outside at something that is actually deep inside and turns back time. About 17-18 years.
