At the beginning, I had high expectations for this fragrance, as it was highly praised by many people and, secondly, Accento is said to be a scent that one simply must own, as it is the ultimate classic. So, I did it! - the fragrance was bought blind. After a few days of eagerly waiting, which passed rather slowly, the fragrance finally arrived.
Did the fragrance meet my expectations?
Scent:
For me personally, Accento was a disappointment. It starts fresh with pineapple and with my first problem, the hyacinth. In combination with the floral heart (iris, jasmine), I find it develops a piercing, unpleasant aura around one. The scent almost has a synthetic vibe.
This doesn't really change over time.
Conclusion:
You can clearly see once again that tastes are truly different. The fragrance is simply very well received by many people. I also presented the fragrance to a few of my friends to hear their opinions, which were consistently positive. However, I unfortunately cannot say the same for myself.
What one must give credit to the fragrance is the sillage and longevity, which are above average for this type of scent.
