Milky Rose on Dry-Spicy Woods

Hamasat means whispering, which for me fits the scent almost not at all. Not that the fragrance is extremely loud, but the complexity of the scent is more like a chat of different nuances. Right from the first spray, one thing becomes clear; it is not a simple 0815 fragrance. Before I reveal too much, let's get into it:

- The opening has a paradoxical texture; a slightly milky rose paired with dry, spicy chili, almost like a hot, spiced elixir meeting cool skin. The rose then becomes more spicy-balsamic, but never loses that milky base character, a truly special and acquired combination.

- As it develops, the fragrance takes on an almost futuristic twist, smelling like the interior of a luxury car, but at the same time, a powdery nuance emerges, making it quite challenging for the nose. In the drydown, the scent becomes dry-woody with a certain powderiness in the background.

- Longevity and sillage are in the upper third; not a performance beast, but definitely potent.

In summary; yes, a bold, well-crafted fragrance that seeks an experienced wearer. It is a truly complex scent, which is well made, but effectively due to its complexity is absolutely not a candidate for a blind buy.
