For me, the dark rose lasts until the end. A bit of cumin, sure, but thankfully I don’t perceive it as sweaty. Luckily, I haven’t experienced the finale you described. Something vaguely reminds me of the old Ispahan - it’s probably the note you referred to as “sweaty,” which in Ispahan comes from the nutmeg (though I don’t perceive that note as sweaty in either Rose Oud or Ispahan).
