Not everyone's cup of tea, but mine for sure

While people's opinions are divided on this scent; Some absolutely sing its praises, some despise the scent profile for being headache educing, others find it unremarkable. Saying it sits amongst a sea of generic and overplayed scent combinations. Bolstered by social media raving about its scent, almost deceptively so, followed up with a hefty price tag. I understand these sentiments entirely from all angles. Each person has their own likes and dislikes for everything! It's great insight to hear everyone's take aways to inform your own choice before spending your money on something like perfume!

However, I am in the crowd that really enjoy this. This isn't a scent profile that I've ever smelled before. It could be that I'm new to fragrance's, the people I socialize with and/or even geographically... This scent immediately caught my attention when I was perusing the store I was in. So much so, that I was drawn to it every time. Now that I have had the chance to wear this for a week or two.. I have thoughts to share!

Firstly, the notes that I smell are very few for what is listed, not that I mind. I smell Vanilla, Jasmine, Pachouli and Orange blossom. These are the initial scents when sprayed on my clothes and skin. When it dries down, it shifts to being more coffee, cedar, orange blossom and vanilla forward. I can smell faint Jasmine/Patchouli but not a ton like the initial spray. On my skin, it almost turns syrupy sweet, very faint scent of pink pepper but the syrupy smell is almost addictive to me. I just kind of want to smell myself all day! The syrupy smell almost reminds me of brown sugar boba with a slight hit of orange. I think this could strictly be my skin chemistry; I absolutely LOVE it.

For Sillage and Longevity; I find that this really depends on how I apply it. Over my clothes and on skin lets this last almost all day while I'm at work. For about eight hours give or take. If I leave out one, it seems to be weaker at about Four hours. The sillage is moderate both ways, I just seem to notice it not really waft behind me when I wear it strictly on skin or strictly on my clothes.

Price point wise, I do think this is a bit expensive for what results it provides on the longevity/sillage point. Even for the scent profile I get, it's pretty pricey! I think if you can get it in a bundle or on sale.. Would be more worthwhile.

Overall, this perfume really stood out for me! I'm a huge fan of it, its quickly captured my heart as my signature scent! I could ramble on and on about the scent profile at nauseum. I'll save you from that!
I do think this scent isn't a safe blind buy by any means. Very polarizing reactions to it, each person's nose smells something different. As always, I suggest trying in person first or trying a travel size before committing!
