A Total Flop Through and Through

In my opinion, the entire line of Black Opium is a complete flop, lacking character, expression, and any distinctive recognition value. Everything essentially has this cheap, fruity-sweet, and in this case, floral-shock, flowery-fruity-sweet mainstream character, absolutely interchangeable, replaceable, and basically negligible. There will be no Ooh's and Ahh's with this fragrance, and in response to any potential question "What are you wearing?" one would probably be very surprised that it is supposed to be a YSL - which used to stand for style formation, revolution, and exclusivity. The kicker is that for this fruity-sweet synthetic concoction, where the bottle is likely more expensive than the content, they still demand a very high price.

I thought I had a tilted O sample.

The sales figures tell a different story. Alongside LVEB, BO is the best-selling fragrance. You can also recognize it by its typical coffee note. Many just want to smell sweet and floral without any fuss.
