and this only reinforced my desire to acquire this well-crafted fragrance.
Initially, my love for this scent started with a video about an Italian skincare brand. I first bought only the deodorant (I also had the one with the black rose and labdanum resin, but that wasn't for me), and I found it so good that I repurchased it after it was hard to find on the shelf for a long time (sold out, or not reordered by the drugstore, no idea).
I saw that it was a fragrance alternative to a YSL scent. I then initially got a dupe that I also loved, but unfortunately, the shop went out of business, so after the third deodorant, I would have been looking for an alternative sooner or later anyway.
It is truly mass-appealing, in terms of scent so that it can be worn by many women, possibly also by very well-groomed men.
I hope it stays around so that no one has to pay exorbitant amounts for it on eBay.
For me, it is a fragrance that knows no age and works on really all days of the year (just not on the hottest and coldest) and for many occasions, just not for balls and theaters, operas, as it lacks the opulence for ball gowns and festive attire, although it has depth through the amber.
And if anyone is interested, my grandmother, if she were still alive, would have used only Tosca by Mäurer and Wirtz to this day; she only needed one for her entire life.
