Should I or shouldn't I...
... write a comment about Opium.
Apparently, I want to. But I haven't written comments in a long time and I'm not quite sure what to say.
I don't have a touching story and I'm not particularly gifted in poetry. I just want to praise my new acquisition a little.
After testing, I decided on the Eau de Toilette. It really packs a punch. I usually like it quite intense, but Opium is something else and brings me to my knees.
My amateur nose detects little difference from the (current) Eau de Parfum. It is a touch softer and a bit fruitier at the beginning. Still, it is a total spice bomb. I can hardly pick out individual components. A bit like a delicious mulled wine spice mix. With a hint of smoke. The similarity to Youth Dew is noticeable, but they are not fragrance twins for me.
Many find it great and delicious, while some faint with a horrified expression.
I think it's brilliant. I just don't know when I can wear it appropriately. That's why I'm currently wearing it sporadically, whenever I feel like it.
Will I still have friends after movie night today? We shall see...

Nur zu! Das EDT kannst du auch tagsüber tragrn. Nicht im Hochsommer und nicht in stickigen Räumen aber wenn dus dezent dosierts hats wirklich einen Wow-Effekt.

Ich trage diesen hier manchmal als leichtes Tagesopium, der alte war mindestens doppelt bis dreifach so intensiv und viel gehaltvoller.

An Opium hab ich mich bis jetzt noch nicht herangetraut. Ich denke der wäre mir evtl. doch ein zu opulenter Wummser :) Dein Kommi hat mir aber gefallen. Bin mir sicher deine Freunde sind noch da ;)

ich kenne nur das Vintage Opium. das ist für mich ein ausgesprochener "Ausgehduft" für Herbst-und Winterabende, nichts fürs Büro, auch sparsam dosiert nicht. Die neue Version ist wohl gemäßigter. Aber für sich austesten muss eh jeder selbst.
