"Opium pour homme - Eau de Parfum" - my late entry into the world of perfumes through a blind purchase (thanks to parfumo.de) and still my favorite fragrance to this day, unfortunately seems to have been discontinued since the end of 2019.
At least I have seen the Eau de Parfum sold out on various websites since then, or it has been removed from most shops after a few months.
In response to a direct inquiry to YSL Support about whether the EdP has indeed been discontinued or if new batches are to be expected, I received the following answer two days ago:
"J'ai le regret de vous informer que celui-ci n’est plus commercialisé.
Il n'existe pas actuellement dans notre catalogue de produit de remplacement ou proche de celui que vous aviez l'habitude d'utiliser."
Summary in German: it is currently no longer marketed and is not in the YSL (replacement) product catalog.
So anyone who is a fan of the EdP should keep an eye out in perfume stores and possibly stock up. However, it is not excluded that it might be marketed again someday. Rumors of its discontinuation had already surfaced in 2013, but they did not come true.

Addendum - Fragrance Description:
As mentioned earlier, my first bottle was a blind purchase. The reasons for buying were its top 10 ranking at the time (2016) and its extremely well-rated longevity.
Therefore, I would like to first address longevity and sillage.
On fabric, the scent lingers for days, if not even weeks, which I have noticed several times when emptying the laundry basket.
I have certainly perceived the first bottle (I am now on my third) for about 10-12 hours on my skin, which unfortunately was not the case with the last two. The initial suspicion was a reformulation, but I now assume that my nose has simply become accustomed to the scent. On fabric, however, nothing has changed regarding longevity.
The sillage is also very good, as far as I can judge. At least, a colleague who walked by my workplace 3 meters away turned around and came to me to inquire about the fragrance. This was nearly 3 hours after it was applied.
Now to the scent itself: right at the beginning, a pleasant, unobtrusive sweetness and the fruitiness of blackcurrant spread. In the background, vanilla and anise remain, with anise only recently becoming noticeable to me after I wondered about its mention in a comment by GivenchyPi.
After some time, a long-lasting spicy vanilla sets in, with blackcurrant/anise remaining faintly perceptible.
Who is this scent for: I would say that the fragrance DNA has aged and therefore is likely to appeal more to a target audience of 35+. However, a masterpiece remains a masterpiece, even if tastes change. Opium pour Homme EdP is still my #1 as a great office scent or fragrance for special occasions to round off a high-quality outfit.
As a date perfume, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this scent, as most women in my perfume collection testing tend to place it in the upper midfield. Dior Homme Intense or Versace Dylan Blue are generally received much better.
Vintage version is fantastic. Last ones are more synthetic but still good.
