Dirty Chypre

A blind buy from the eBay before the good stuff sinks into the nirvana of fragrance history.

I sprayed it, and the first impression was stunning. Wow, what a surprise!! A dark, dirty lemon comes flying at you. Better said, it tries to knock you down. Nothing fresh or cheerful. Behind it follow all the well-known and beloved chypre notes, including a hardcore oakmoss note.

This fragrance reminds me of the film "La Strada" with Anthony Quinn as Zampano. Cynical, brutal, tyrannical, slightly shabby and ragged, and perhaps behind it a slightly softer core with a buried heart.

Overall, it gives a very virile impression. My female colleagues liked it. I received very positive feedback about the scent.
