Aldehydic-cold sunlight
makes hyacinth pollen sparkle in the sickroom
I trade greened flower water
for a view of the oaks

Probably not medical, but "sick room" doesn't sound great.

I usually like that kind of thing.

Never heard of that. I'd rather go for the new men's version 😅 Even though they probably don't have much in common.

Igreque was just extremely demanding and, in my opinion, perfectly composed.
One of the classics of the house.

I prefer to be challenged by dense smoke rather than lush hyacinths ;D

Better described than it seems to please you.

Thanks - it's a bit tricky with the hyacinths...

I’ll take the oak... the rest, well.

Huh, I already get chills just reading it.
I still really like your take, I now have a clear picture of it 👀

And I thought only the reformulation was terrible.

Just the word "sick room" was enough for me 😆

I notice a pronounced mildness in the reviews of vintage fragrances. I might agree with that from time to time. However, not here, because the hyacinth clashes with my nose like a bright, toxic powder. And no matter how much I try to smell the depth behind it, not much reveals itself to me. A light green floral note, completely devoid of sensual accents and anything but soft on me (as some write here). Maybe it's the magical skin chemistry... :/

The Ur-Y probably wasn't very pleasant either 🙊

Some people here use the adjective 'soft' in their statements. But on me, it just bites... :D
