Kouros, M7, Rive Gauche, Pour Homme... and those are just the most prominent ones from the men's line. All groundbreaking, grandly daring fragrances. And for some time now, YSL has only been releasing unnecessary flankers to its bestseller and flagship L'Homme. I believe it’s hard to get any less bold than this. With this, YSL has reached a new low, similar to Gucci. But unlike there, the great classics have not been completely discontinued, which is worth something.
L'Homme Sport is, in short, the original, just lighter, more citrusy, duller, more summery, and therefore certainly not a bad fragrance. But it has as much justification and sense to exist as a broken little toe. A creamy-serious apple, for all fans of Boss Bottled or those who find the original too heavy for high summer. However, I would definitely still prefer to use the original even in summer, just with a restrained finger on the spray head. The scent feels like an aldehyde- and iron-infused L'Homme and is not particularly suited for any sport. Cardamom is in every second new designer bottle anyway, so to speak the sweet all-purpose weapon that simply annoys and frustrates me with such releases. And that with a fragrance that actually smells fine. Times change and so do you!
Bottle: used to be nice... but even that annoys me by now. Sillage: summer-appropriate, muted, and lighter than L'Homme. Longevity: 5-6 hours withstand a vigorous workout.
At least with the once super successful L'Homme line, YSL has now reached Boss level and annoys those I know. Better to discontinue everything except for the two origins of this L'Homme plague... because La Nuit and the original are worth every cent and real gems!
Lol...
Überlegt Euch doch endlich mal was Neues.
