The best of the Libre line

This fragrance gives designer fragrances a good reputation. It has a combination of all of my favorite accords: White florals, vanilla, sweet, aromatic, ambery, etc. Strong on the lavender (so if you don’t like lavender, skip this one!!), but not overbearing because the vanilla is turned up on this one compared to the OG Libre. I would place it in the same genre as Mon Guerlain because of the combo of lavender / vanilla / aromatics; but Libre Intense definitely has more of a seductive edge to it. I not only adore the way it smells, but also, the way it makes me feel!

It’s sexy, sophisticated, powerful, and enticing. This one is an obvious crowd pleaser, but I think the entire Libre line is. They’re not only beautiful in their composition, but the performance on each of them is spectacular. This lasts FOREVER on clothes (literally this stuck to my sweater dress for A MONTH until I got a chance to wash it) and has a strong sillage / projection. You don’t need to overspray this one at all and people around will most definitely notice you wearing this.

What I also love about this fragrance is how well it wears on its own AND how well it layers with other scents. Because it has such a diverse accords list, it layers well with other white florals, vanillas, aromatics, citruses, ambers, and spicys. I can’t say that about many of my other fragrances. Libre Intense is also very versatile in when / where you can wear it. You can wear it in the dead cold of winter, and also in the heat of summer. Day or night, work or out to party, you name it!

While I did declutter this, I plan on adding it back into my collection at some point. I just need to focus on reducing my collection badly as I’ve been overwhelmed with the amount that I have.
