Velours Yves Saint Laurent 2016

This fragrance from YSL is very intriguing and has two faces for me - but first, the description; ultra-powdery like lightly floral, fine, rosy blush from a high-end cosmetics brand, simultaneously soft-leathery and then develops into a dreamy woody, slightly sweet vanilla.
Now, this fragrance could be, on one hand, that edgy, quick-witted, hot goth teenager who wears torn fishnets with chunky platform boots and pairs her short velvet dress with an oversized 80s black suede jacket lined with lamb's wool, as well as the quirky, somewhat aging neighbor who lives at the end of the street in an old-fashioned attic apartment. She has aged well, is very delicate and pretty, but wears a bit too much makeup (which is quite difficult with increasing nearsightedness) and has three fluffy, groomed dogs. I would love to be both, and both smell like YSL La Vestiaire Velours.

Now I have described two wonderful clichés from a US series or something similar, but this fragrance is really very special, and I like it precisely for that reason.
