Unknown Women's Magnet

The good Yves de Sistelle, I had ignored him for a long time, I knew Thallium and also Chairman, but had never tested them. I always walked straight past them in Galeria Kaufhof.
Two years ago, my wife and I were invited to dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's for Christmas, the whole family was present, my wife's aunt, my father-in-law, etc., old and young, even the little ones.
After one of the usual, hearty Christmas dinners, the younger ones were in the living room with their smartphones, while the older ones debated in the dining room about the speed cameras that were appearing more frequently again. I, on the other hand, was looking forward to dessert; Grandma's desserts always revolved around chocolate. Far from it, Grandma gathered everyone in the living room and Grandpa disappeared into the bedroom, gifts were to be distributed.
When everyone held something in their hands, I had no idea what this large (mine) package contained. Not wanting to seem greedy, I preferred to watch all my family members around me unwrapping their gifts. My father-in-law, sitting to my left, casually unwrapped a 125ml bottle of Joop! Homme, and I thought, wow. My brother-in-law, then 19, got S. Oliver Original Men. My wife's cousin, some Bruno Banani. So then it was clear, I had to have some kind of fragrance too; I didn't care which one, just please let it be a fragrance. It was a gift box with 100ml EdT and a 200ml shower gel tube. The label - Armada Black? I can't say if there was any mention of Yves de Sistelle anywhere, but "Armada Black" was not listed in the Parfumo database at that time.

I also can't say if anyone noticed the expression on my face, but I hope not. I was initially skeptical about whether this fragrance was a real fragrance and not from some Asian shop for 4,-, since we also received cinema tickets and restaurant vouchers.

Nevertheless, I sprayed it on on Christmas Day; the opening was very fruity, with the note that clearly dominated from the beginning to the dry down being pineapple, but the sweet and woody notes kept popping up in turn. Patchouli made it a bit sexier. Whether I should like this fragrance or let it gather dust, when my wife came around the corner, she suddenly said, I like that, and walked on. I couldn't understand the world anymore, that stuff? Sure, patchouli and pineapple are not rare, but the intensity of the fragrance is really not just a 10,- fragrance. Confused by the good response and the patchouli/pineapple trail, I kept it for a couple of months.

I used the fragrance until it was half gone and then gifted it to our intern, who fortunately is happy about everything, not as picky as I was ;)

Later, one day, I found it by chance and added it to my "Had" list.
I remember very clearly the longevity, which was easily 8 hours.
The sillage was good, not Mugler but filling the room.
The bottle felt heavy in hand, faux-metal though, but the glass body was solid.

In terms of price, the Sistelle fragrances are around 20,- but they are not particularly popular, although I would love to have Thallium Sport in my collection.

I randomly tested Armada Black at Karstadt yesterday. The scent stood out nicely and caught my attention in a positive way. The scented spot on my arm smelled great for hours. Adding it to my wishlist.
