This Is Her! Zadig & Voltaire 2016

I have had this perfume for ages and love it. However, it is not as described on Tik Tok, in my opinion. Please do not buy it blindly. It is not a gourmand perfume! Yes, it is creamy, yes, it is vanilla-like, but that does not make it a vanilla ice cream perfume or something similar. The stars alongside the musk and cream are the pepper and sandalwood. It is not delicate or understated. The pepper and sandalwood give the scent something mature and depth. It is a play between soft and edgy. Sometimes I have to say that it is a bit too much, as the scent cannot decide what it wants to be. It is true that the drydown is very creamy and milky, but not like a sweet dessert. More like a nice woody body lotion with plenty of musk. The scent smells much more expensive than it is to me. It could be a unisex niche fragrance. I imagine a woman wearing a pearl necklace, in a power suit, wearing this scent while on her way to a trendy coffee shop. A power scent for a confident appearance. For my taste, This is Her! could be fresher, as the perfume is not exactly subtle.
