My first review goes to this perfume. I don't want to dedicate it to another one. Why? I believe that until today, no perfume has managed to remind me of the past. Until this one came along.
Through a YouTuber, reading about the fragrance composition, and ultimately ordering a sample. It couldn't have been better in content. Everything in it contains what I like/love. But what does that really mean? Every ingredient can ultimately be processed or mixed in countless ways, leading to an infinite number of different compositions.
Once applied, I immediately felt special, particularly good to be precise. As if an aura was enveloping me and simply lifting me up without me having to hold myself up.
It threw me back a good 20 years and reminded me of a scent from a relative. An uncle, I think, but I can't pinpoint it. It was just incredibly familiar. So familiar and safe, like one wants to feel during the tumultuous ages of 14-17. And who can confidently claim that at that age, one was just bubbling with self-confidence, flawless.
In the here and now, this scent provides absolute well-being, self-confidence, and somehow infallibility. As if, no matter what is ahead, you are currently in the best version of yourself.
As for the scent itself. If you like the idea of a fougère but don't want to smell old, if you want your partner to say you smell good and fresh like you've just showered, but you also want to be taken seriously in a meeting, then this is the ticket.
For some, perhaps for the price, absolutely nothing special. For me, it hits the trigger point perfectly. I wouldn't want to change anything 10/10
