Zara does right what Gucci did wrong... or so
I stumbled upon this fragrance by chance, but since there was a Zara boutique not far away, I checked availability online and set off.
The tester immediately convinced me, and the fragrance went into my backpack.
It was really just one spray, and I could still perceive it on my arm after three hours.
So much for the first impression, but now let's get to the proper use.
The bottle is simple, and the spray head works without any issues. Right from the opening, there's this bubble gum note that I also recognize from "Guilty Elixir de Parfum pour Homme | Gucci." However, it dissipates quite quickly, and the slightly sweet orange comes to the fore. Much fresher and not as cloyingly heavy as with Gucci.
I completely miss the association with Reflection Man here, but it goes in the direction of a fragrance that I personally connect with "Reflection Man | Amouage," namely "Gaultier² (2022) | Jean Paul Gaultier." I just find the ambered vanilla fantastic.
I would definitely see this fragrance as suitable for the whole year and not just in winter.
Anyone who can relate to the three mentioned fragrances should definitely take a sniff, and at €17.95 for 100ml Eau de Parfum, you can't go wrong.
