**Scent:**
Ganache Tonka by Zara starts with an unpleasant synthetic note that immediately evokes associations with the smell of chlorine in indoor pools for me. Especially when smelled closely, the opening of the fragrance is really not pleasant.
After a few minutes, the "chlorine" becomes quieter, recedes into the background, and allows a creamy gourmand vanilla-tonka-cocoa blend to take the lead.
In my opinion, this fragrance only becomes truly pleasant when, after 1-2 hours, the sensual heart notes of sandalwood and musk become present and mix with the previously mentioned notes.
For me, as a lover of many of the existing notes, the top note is unfortunately too unpleasant and is also the reason why Ganache Tonka will not find a place in my fragrance collection.
**Longevity & Sillage:**
The longevity of Ganache Tonka was good on my skin! The scent accompanied me for 7-8 hours after application. The sillage was rather subdued. After about two hours, the fragrance quickly became very close to the skin.
**Versatility:**
In terms of scent character, this is clearly a fragrance for the colder days, but I also find it suitable for spring with its moderate sillage. In summer and on hot spring and autumn days, I can imagine that the fragrance might become too sweet and, apart from that, face performance difficulties.
In my opinion, this fragrance is wearable by both genders.
