I have hardly any experience with patchouli so far, but the one in this perfume comes across as intrusive and biting to me. The raspberry unfortunately makes it even worse for me - in combination with the patchouli note. And then the strength/intensity of this perfume... definitely a beast!
I tested the perfume for the first time a week ago and immediately found it to be (intrusive to the brain). My first impression was therefore actually negative, even though I thought this could be my favorite of the line. Raspberry is often just my thing, but unfortunately not here. Somehow, I really wanted to like Someday Sometimes, so I went back to the nearest Zara today and tested it again. Unfortunately, not much has changed for me. For about 5 minutes, I could still convince myself that I would get used to it, but now I am super relieved that I didn't buy it. I think the patchouli here is really extremely strong, and that's probably why I have such strong issues with the scent. By the way, the rose is also quite noticeable. I can imagine that it would appeal to quite a few people. By the way: I couldn't understand this association with fresh laundry at first, but earlier while testing, I was able to relate to it! Unfortunately, I don't know what exactly triggered this association, but it appeared about 10-15 minutes after spraying. :D Additionally, I was able to compare it with Fashionably London. When sprayed, they smell very similar, but after just 3 minutes, there are all sorts of differences. The dry down is completely different, which astonishes me because, as I said, they smell way too similar when sprayed. FL primarily becomes dusty/smoky-rosy-woody, while with Someday Sometimes, I can almost only smell clear raspberries (with a rose aroma) and this patchouli. So, if someone likes both FL AND Someday Sometimes, I could definitely understand if they bought both scents.
Overall, a really well-made perfume; those who like this fragrance direction will, in my opinion, be very satisfied with it.
