Typical Alberto Morillas

I ordered "Bohemian Sunset in Barcelona" and "Morning Sunray in Sevilla" both for a ridiculous 10.99 at Zara, as I have always liked many of the fragrances created by Alberto Morillas.

For those who don't know him, here are some of his highlights:
- CK One
- Tommy
- 212 Men
- Acqua di Gio
- Light Blue pour Homme
but also niche fragrances like The Tragedy of Lord George or Journey Man
and last but not least, he is the perfumer for Jeremy Fragrance for his line. Love it or hate it.

Morning Sunray is also a typical Morillas and for me, it is similar (not to be understood as a dupe or twin) to Light Blue by D&G. The fragrance accord is described as follows:

Top: Lemon, Tarragon, Rosemary, Neroli
Heart: Jasmine, Cypress, Geranium
Base: Frankincense, Ambroxan, Oakmoss

The opening is super lemony and fresh, and you really think of a fresh sunny morning. Along with a lot of lemon, you can also smell the rosemary and the neroli. After a while, it becomes a bit more floral with jasmine and especially geranium, reminiscent of a spring meadow and fresh laundry. And it essentially stays that way. After some time, a bit of incense comes through, but it is only faintly perceptible.

Here too, the longevity is poor, and unfortunately, I can hardly smell anything after about 30-40 minutes.

After about a year in the dark, it seems to last from evening to morning, even if it's close to the skin. A lovely fragrance.
