…at least that’s how it was for me with this fragrance. I was almost annoyed with myself because after watching one or two YouTube videos about the Zara Vanilla series, I was so hooked that I ordered it blindly. With those prices, it’s just too tempting…
When the package arrived, I sprayed this fragrance first and found it special, but somehow not particularly remarkable. I was a bit disappointed because it was compared here to the expensive Loubirouge (which, to be honest, I don’t even know), so my expectations were high.
After a few weeks of abstinence, it suddenly came back to my mind, and to my surprise, I found it incredibly great. Green-spicy, a hint of unripe banana, and with the vanilla, also feminine-elegant. I would describe the longevity and sillage as mediocre to good, but for the price and considering that the fragrance has real niche character, I think it’s really great and recommendable!
Thanks, now that I read it... banana... yes, I'm getting slight banana vibes. I bought 2 of the vanilla scents at the souk and I'm a bit sad that I only tested them so late. It's a shame, I would have loved to try them all. The three I know are fantastic. I didn't expect that from Zara.
Zara sometimes does surprisingly well, but the fragrances come and go so quickly. Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll release it again in a different packaging and/or under a different name. 😊
I'm happy for you ☺️ I also ordered it blind, but I quickly decided to pass it on. I probably wouldn't have clicked on it again. I didn't really like Loubirouge either...
