I must admit that this was my first experience with a Zara fragrance. And I was so positively impressed that I thought there must be an incredible number of Zara scents that are good if they are all available in this price range. Well, over time I have learned that with Zara it often really is a hit or miss. However, there is a clear exception here.
Upon the first spray, you are hit by an incredibly fresh grapefruit note. Just close your eyes for a moment, imagine a chic AirBnB in the south, and cut a grapefruit on the terrace with a somewhat dull knife, so that the juice splashes onto your clothes and hands. If you have experience with grapefruits and can easily visualize it, then it probably smells just like your current imagination. It somehow smells of intense warm sunshine, accompanied by a gentle breeze.
Additionally, for me, the noble vetiver note comes through clearly and quite quickly. This rounds off the fragrance beautifully and prevents it from being too sweet. Admittedly, the combination is not particularly innovative, but it still seems to be an art to blend them in such a way that something so subtly beautiful emerges.
The longevity, which is unfortunately to be expected from such a freshie, leaves much to be desired. Unfortunately, I can't enjoy it for longer than 3 hours. But fortunately, I bought more than one bottle back then. It’s nice to see that the fragrance is now also available in the new bottles. Maybe one of those will find its way into my cabinet.
