Ambroxan and Wood
Very fruity, somewhat citrusy, and very synthetic, that is the first impression after spraying. A strong pepper note soon joins in, and I can also smell delicate green notes from the violet leaf. So far so good.
But soon the pepper dominates the scene, fruit and citrus are passé, and wood can also be detected. Still good.
After about two hours, the peppery woody impression transforms. A synthetic note becomes increasingly dominant: Ambroxan and not amber as indicated in the pyramid. The Ambroxan and a bit of wood is how '3:00 AM' smells until the end. And that is now less good.
And the end comes quite late, although '3:00 AM' loses a lot of projection after about four hours and becomes quite close to the skin. Because I can still smell remnants of the fragrance even after 12 hours and after showering.
'W/End Till 3:00 AM' works well for me in spring and also autumn. For me, it is rather masculine and somewhat suitable for younger people.
The bottle feels good in the hand, appearing more like stoneware than glass due to its gray color. The sprayer is quite good, distributing a fine mist, but does not spray too much with one press.
