Ship of Dreams...
This is a sublime and very romantic fragrance. There is nothing sharp about it or rough in any way. It just radiates softness and charm.
Safinat al Arab (????? ?????) is Arabic for Ship of the Arabs, and the idea is that this one is a ship sailing on a sea of love and emotions towards it's sweet and gentle destination. The notes here are all pleasant and well blended. You have sandalwood, saffron, amber, rose and musk, as well as oud wood.
I really like this one. I can't see anyone disliking it because there is nothing loud or harsh about it in any way. More like a mellow, laid back but rich and sensual experience. I can't find fault with it. Unless you're looking for a more exclusive, medicinal smelling oud, instead of a well blended, mellowed out, relaxed vibe. A very good one by the way... Try it out!
