This is pure condensed milk. Sweet, dense and somehow warm.
I can see my Southern Spanish grandma in the kitchen, opening a can for me, the quiet anticipation of its delicious promise...
Ah, how i miss those days.
The opening has a sharp alcoholic edge, but it fades quickly.
What remains is incredibly photorealistic. The smell of dipping a spoon into the tin, catching sugary and creamy whiffs, together with a faint metallic air before actually tasting it.
It's linearity is beautiful and very convenient, in my opinion. It is stable in a way that lets small waves of nostalgia still hit my nose throughout the day or in my worn clothes.
It is comfort, preserved... and an incredible layering piece that makes everything more creamy and fluffy and sweet.
