Primeval Forest Fire

As soon as I opened the envelope containing the sample, an unexpected scent greeted me. After some time, I re-entered the room where the sample was and immediately smelled that smoky, sweet aroma again. Upon applying it to my skin, I noticed a strong sillage as expected. The "campfire smoke" initially overshadowed everything, yet bergamot was still pleasant to smell, with a "slightly" metallic note peeking through. Over the next few hours, the smoke dissipated enough that a light forest-like scent remained. It would have been nice to experience a more pronounced development of the fragrance. Unfortunately, I couldn't detect any prehistoric creature, which I had hoped for. The perfume is probably more suited for "special" occasions; not everyone will be thrilled by it. Overall, I enjoyed the journey back to the primeval times, so I will try a few more fragrance samples from "Zoologist." Addendum 07/2021: in hot weather, it’s a top scent, smelling more like a forest; sprayed on clothing, it lasts for days, and the dry down is pure forest air once the smoke has cleared: beautiful scent development in hot weather!
Addendum 16.03.24: WTF! I'm just wondering why the rating has slipped to 7.3 here. When I tested it, I believe it was still 7.9.
01.09.24: so if the rating drops to 7 (currently 7.2), I won't pay any attention to the ratings on Parfumo anymore. The same is happening with the fragrances from Jeremy Fragrance and similar ones. I think it's best to only look at the classification of the fragrance direction; everything else just evokes false associations.

Respect that he didn't eat you for breakfast. One of the few zoologists I just can't seem to get along with.
