A small, capable mouse
When I think of the hay harvest on our mountain farm, the smells and impressions that make up this special process immediately come to mind. It starts in summer, when the grass has grown tall and the field has turned into a sea of fresh green and flowers. The scent of blooming hay flowers and lush grass permeates the air as we prepare to harvest. Once the grass is cut and dries in the sun for a day or two, the smell changes - from fresh vibrancy to the warm, dry notes of hay. When the hay is finally dry enough to collect and store for the winter, the smell of dried summer flowers and hay fills the yard. This scent accompanies us all year round, even on cold winter days when the stored hay is fed to the animals in the barn.
Harvest Mouse captures exactly this smell, this change from lush green to dry, golden hay, in a wonderful way. It immediately reminds me of summer days on the farm, when we cut grass and the field slowly gave off the warm, earthy scent of hay. The fragrance begins with a calming top note. Chamomile and clove dominate the first impression, both gentle and spicy at the same time, while the freshness of bergamot shines through, reminiscent of the cool morning hours before the heat of the day heats up the field.
As the perfume develops on the skin, the warmth of the woody, hay-like notes emerges. It's like standing in the middle of a sun-dried field and inhaling deeply the scent of dried grass and flowers. Over time, the balsamic notes unfold, making the fragrance softer and rounder. These warm, sweet notes remind me of a hay sauna in the spa, where the heat brings out the aroma of the dried hay even more intensely.
I find the picture on the bottle of the mouse in a suit perfectly fitting for the scent. A small, hard-working mouse doing his business in the hay and meeting up with his fellow mice for a beer in the evening. Wonderfully apt.
Overall, I find the fragrance to be a sweet, spicy, warm composition that fits perfectly in the fall. But I can also imagine Harvest Mouse being a wonderful addition in summer - especially due to its association with the hay harvest. However, it still needs to be tested how it unfolds at high temperatures. For me, this fragrance tells a story of the countryside, of summer work and the peace that comes after the harvest - a perfume that really brings back memories. Beautifully made and realized. I am delighted with the last drop I was able to get hold of in the sharing.

My notes on the scent mirror your impression exactly, I also immediately thought of late summer, farm, hay harvest and dried flowers! An almost nostalgic scent, very nicely described!

Thank you so much, how nice that you had the same associations :)
