Horrible opening, and average after

The opening was pretty putrid. Some sorta generic bathroom cleaner-floral scent I couldn't stand. Could have used a clothes pin on my nose but I stuck it out. Eventually got to a woody/musky scent that was OK but nothing special. I've given the scent a middle 5 rating overall but the opening would be a 1. Longevity was pretty good but projection was only moderate. Definite pass for me.

Oh that’s a shame, apparently no deer musk was used? So how was the musky scent actually like?
That’s why I tend to stay away from floral ouds, the florals are always overdone and the oud actually not all that animalic to call for such a floral concoction.

I believe Zoologist says on their website they don't use animal products so it must be the chem scent. Wasn't really very animalic or musky. It wasn't the type of musk that smells like fresh laundry but didn't smell dirty either. Overall, disappointing plus the horrible opening.
