Tiger Zoologist 2023

Tiger by Zoologist opens fresh and borderline refreshing thanks to the cumquat accord, creating a fun first impression. As someone who is in a complicated relationship with Vetiver, I was then hit with the note I was dreading from this fragrance and it did not work for me. It reminded me heavily of the Encre Noir line by Lalique and I couldn't shake the comparison since then. Frankincense comes in after a little while but it was not enough to mask the heavy vetiver you are presented with.

If you are a fan of vetiver in fragrances, you should consider this perfume as it has a unique opening and frankincense fills in the dry down beautifully. Personally, the note hasn't resonated with me and I have since traded away my bottle.
