First impressions of Zoologist.
A beautiful opening, mostly kumquat, between sweetness and a touch of spiciness: for once, saffron and cardamom aren't the dominant force, as is often the case with today's fragrances.
A Comme de Garçons-style incense enters forcefully, alternating equally forcefully with notes that remind me of Bvlgari's Le Gemme: peeking into the pyramid, I think it's ambrette seeds, a common thread with Tygar.
The vetiver is noticeable, but it's still strongly cut by the preceding notes, so I don't really perceive it in its purest form.
Anyway, a beautiful scent; I assume it's a comfort zone Zoologist, but the research has just begun.
