… in St. Mary Mead in a tea room. The waitress comes and brings us black tea with lemon and the accompanying strawberry tarts. The door opens and one might think Miss Marple is entering the room. But no, it’s just an older lady. We look at each other and start laughing. It’s going to be a fun evening.
When applying this fragrance, the first thing that hits the nose is black tea with lemon accompanied by a spiciness. Leather joins in, along with the woody oud, framed by a smoky accord. Slowly, something floral and slightly animalistic emerges, underscored by a dry, powdery accent.
The longevity and sillage are good.
Here we have a men’s fragrance that is excellent for the gentleman from the age of thirty onwards. I can’t imagine it on younger men, nor on women, as it is simply too masculine and animalistic. Except for very hot days, it can be worn without any issues. During the day, it should be applied discreetly and can be worn just as well in the office, at lunch, in a café, or while shopping as in the evening at the opera, theater, fine restaurant, bar, pub, or even at a party.
Those who enjoy a citrusy tea scent with spices, woods, leather, oud, and a smoky floral animalistic masculine twist will find this fragrance to their liking. Only the price is up for debate.
