The most creative combination from the house, algae and ginger are the stars
Citrus like I have rarely experienced before, a very dry-nutty opening, where many elements come into play already down to the base, the algae and ginger, but also fresh, dark currant, which flashes almost ink-like for a brief moment. The green notes simultaneously evoke the feeling of freshly blooming citrus trees, as well as the nearby cliffs and the sea.
In the heart, after 20-25 minutes, Ylang-Ylang becomes very prominent, with white, bright creaminess sharing the stage with algae and orange blossoms, while the pepper adds a subtle spicy earthiness, rather than real sharpness.
In the heart, it then becomes drier and greener, but does not lose that certain lightness of the Ylang, balanced and fresh-green.
The fragrance is definitely the "most interesting" in terms of being the most unique of the brand (although one from the house is still pending). The algae and ginger work beautifully harmoniously and intensely together and are already quite present early on, but they gain different aspects on the various levels.
