Oud Al Shahamah Al Fares Eau de Parfum

Here I have a fragrance completely unknown to me before, yet it somehow feels familiar! But I can't pinpoint where this familiar breeze is coming from. In any case, I perceive a "coolness" in the initial sniff, with each whiff lasting only a moment. It's as cool as an icy March wind! Is it the violets peeking out so boldly? Or the (plant-based) musk that brings this about? However brief these sequences are, they call for a wool coat!
They are always followed by a great warmth, a kind of glow, as if a volcano like Stromboli is continuously and somewhat "properly" spewing hot, red lava that flows leisurely down its slopes.
This is certainly due to the cinnamon and saffron notes that constantly provide "reinforcements."
Felt and smelled, it feels as if you are buttoning an extra "winter lining" into the already warming wool coat, one that lets no trace of cold through! No chance of freezing and a blessing for "cold feet"! And "frostbite"!
The two contenders, first cold, then cozy warmth, remain dominant throughout the entire experience. Later, a rather profound vanilla-wood aroma joins in, making the fragrance, so to speak, a "double-decker." The warmth becomes even more pleasant and deeper, relaxing and soothing. A wood-fire, fireplace warmth that envelops the fiery heat of the saffron-cinnamon combination, just as the wool coat does with its lining. Hard to describe.
But now I know what that previously mentioned "familiar" scent is: "Oud Al Shahamah" bears a distant resemblance to "Aetna | Cosmesi Siciliana," which I also own!!!
