Green, pungent rose becomes vintage and powdery

Based on how people voted on the perfume's "types", it's obvious people smell different things due to their skin chemistry. To my nose, this fragrance is a rose / green type of fragrance with a vintage drydown. Here's how my breakdown goes.

I smell a very deep, pungent green notes made up of fresh, slightly spicy, aromatics (clove, green tea, patchouli, vetiver). It's paired with a fresh, dewy rose. As it moves on, it somehow gets soapy and fresh, maybe due to the white florals. The drydown has a clear vintage scent to it. It smells like sweeter roses, older than what I'm used to, with a subtle woodiness and earthy patchouli. There's also a subtle powdery facet, maybe due to the iris somewhere.

Overall, it's not bad, but I'm not that into vintage scents or rose scents which is why it won't be coming into my collection. It did smell more unusual than what I was expecting based on the notes, but I'm pretty sure this is a no-blind-buy kind of fragrance as it might depend on your skin chemistry. Try before you buy!

A disaster full of roses...

Creating a nice rose fragrance is no easy task, I get it. You can have THE most expensive and THE most high-quality ingredients on this earth and still screw up a rose creation.

This is exactly what has happened here; you can tell that this fragrance uses (atleast partly) high quality ingredients, but the blend is absolutely horrendous. With all due respect to Jordi Magrans, but please stay away from the note of rose and leave it to the guys who do it best.

This fragrance opens up with floor-cleaner sort of rose, followed by a green aspect (probably coming from the green tea, geranium, and lavender) that develops into anything but something that you could spray on yourself.

Definitely not unique, and definitely not well-balanced. 249 euros for this? Hard pass.

Intense Green rose

Santa Cristina is for me overall a rose fragance. It is a very nice and intense fragrance with a very soft sweet touch and a Green/Woody background. This rose comes rounded by other flowers but, although some of them, like Jasmine ir Orange blossom, are noticeable, the main role is for the rose from the beggining til the end of the perfume.
It is a very weareable scent, for any season and any time, and probably for any ocasión. It is un adition for me totally unisex since i think that It even doesnt lean a bit more on the femenine side...no...for me It is for both men and women and if you are a Guy and like rose fragrances this perfume Will be for you. If you like rose de taif by perris Montecarlo, lyric man by amouage or black aoud by montale I am almost sure that you Will LOVE santa Cristina.
