You can definitely notice that Hindi Oud is used here. Those typical barn-like notes slowly waft up, but they are definitely noticeable. The musk adds a certain edge and an animalic explosion. Cambodi can somewhat balance the Hindi, keeping it on a shorter leash and pushing it into the background, but its presence is still very much felt. For a brief moment, saffron adds a bit of spice, but it gets swallowed up pretty quickly. What remains is a rather compact Oud-musk conglomerate, with floral hints, feeling quite robust, almost like it needs a permit :P Towards the end, refined sandalwood and a subtle creaminess manage to untangle and smooth things out a bit.

In the end, I’m left with a light veil of vanilla, silence, as if nothing ever happened. Definitely crafted at a top level, but the scent itself is definitely an experience and a character fragrance that you have to engage with. Definitely not a blind buy candidate.
