The name promises a scandalous scent, and it truly delivers. Roses for those who usually dislike them. They have charisma, being dark and smoky. The wearable animalic note enhances its sensual character. The leather is rugged and has burn marks from cigarettes. The tobacco in the cigarette is a lovely brown and aromatic-spicy. It sounds woody without losing depth.
The smoky leather reminds me a bit of the leather accord in Cuir Fleurissant, but without the bitter-bright freshness, instead with animalic and spicy notes. If Cuir Fleurissant is the daytime scent, then Danse Lascive is the evening scent.
