* While I see "Danse Lascive" jumping onto my wishlist before the test, my nose pulls back sensitively on the first try. By the third, the flight reflex is sedated, but love is still absent. Basically, I can smell pretty much everything indicated in the pyramid, well blended and high quality. Fragrance color: black. "Danse Lascive" fails for me on three points. 1. Relatively shortly after the opening, a too dominant tar note settles over the scent. 2. This isn’t just smoking; it’s heavy smoking. Nothing against a smoky note, but here it reminds me of overflowing ashtrays in unheated rooms. 3. The animalic aspect feels a bit too synthetic for me. Craftsmanship is very good and consistently executed. If I were to rate it based on that, I’d land at a 9. However, I don’t like it, find it unbearable for me, and I’m at a 4 +-. So, the good Swiss compromise settles at a 6.5, mathematically correct but unsatisfying.
