Rose oxide focused oily, vegetal, toasted leather - fantastic idea. Warm, smoky spice beneath cool, green rose. Not sweet, not dry.

Oh you're right, vegetal is more precise than earthy. I'm not even sure where it's coming from tbh, perhaps the rose oil pitted against tobacco and hyraceum.
Good to hear the drydown is less dry and sweet for you, the resinous facets eventually dominated on my skin.

@TheDunkPapa yes, very much so. It's actually less present here than in say, Vetiveria Animalis imo. I think it's the best fixative I've ever experienced in terms of execution, although I don't necessarily vibe with it as much as I'd like to.

And as such, here comes a 9,5/10 that I wouldn't think of buying. I used to be much more into rose oxide heavy perfumes such as this. Easily one of the best and definitely most interesting in its class.
Is "the angelos thing" this overarching creamy, barely green thing? So far it's present in 3/3 of his creations I tried.
