Definitely on the nice list!
Christmas time is over, but I still want to review this very Christmas-y, wintery, warming fragrance before spring finally comes around the corner.
Naughty List really smells like the holidays in a bottle. It has it all: Heaps of cinnamon and gingerbread spices, boozy notes, apple, and of course the obligatory vanilla and amber base. I wonder why there are smokey notes listed, I can't detect anything smokey here at all.
This is a very lush scent, as opposed to other, dry and doughy leaning cinnamon fragrances. The apple note is really wonderful here, albeit not reminiscent of a candy apple. Instead, it reminds me of hot apple punch from a Christmas market. And together with the other sweet and spicy notes, it of course also has apple pie or strudel vibes.
Because of the strong focus on apple, it would also fit the mood in autumn, before advent season even starts. And honestly, why not keep on wearing cozy scents like this in January? As long as you're still in the mood to eat gingerbread, you can also wear it as a fragrance, right?
In my opinion this is losely related to Kilian's Angels' Share, but far from a dupe. Out of curiosity I tested them side by side. Naughty List relies on intense cinnamon to bring the wintery vibes. Angels' Share does that in a more subtle, balanced way and amps up the booziness instead. I'm a bit more partial to Angels' Share, but Naughty List is a lovely scent, too.
