Almost medicinal cardamom freshness at the start, distinctly green mandarin, complemented by slightly sweet linden blossoms; Palo Santo resinous.

Linden blossom is always interesting.

Palo Santo, however, is stronger and smells like a kind of incense due to its high resin content - not in a botanical sense, though...

They create interesting things, but somehow the scents always seem to be sold out.

So, for Dark Tales, there are often specials that are only available for a short time (this year in two batches, so you can test first and then buy in the second round). Currently, only Katholikon at Franzen and two others at Dark Tales are out of stock from the regular lineup. The rest is even available at a discount.

I'm really impressed with this sub-label. With Dark Tales, I always have the issue that the beautiful scents disappear quickly, but the ones from this collection have lasted well on my skin so far.

Mandarin, cardamom, and Palo Santo.
This can only turn out great!

I just came back into the room (from the kitchen) where I sprayed it this afternoon, and the mandarin-herb mix is still in the air. 😮 Very nice!

Cardamom has a slightly sharper anise note that is very refreshing, especially combined with this unripe mandarin. I think the image of the Renaissance, which is slowly developing a sense of the scientific alongside the spiritual, is well captured. The spiritual aspect is still present with Palo Santo and Amyris, and the subtle flowers connect everything very harmoniously.
A lovely complement to the Katholikon from yesterday.
