Weird pineapple/coffee pairing and then awful pineapple flavored cold medicine
Didn't know pineapples and coffee could be a thing, but after smelling this fragrance, I'm glad I didn't know it was a thing: I was living in blissful ignorance. This perfume is just so awful ...
During a split second, I thought people had been wrong with their reviews when I smelled a realistic and beautiful, fruity, juicy, tangy and bright pineapple at the top. That lasted a split second. Pineapple starts to become spicy and leans masculine right away which is a major turn off. A dark, roasted, powdery note of coffee starts to rise beneath the pineapple and the pairing of them both is all kinds of wrong. No other notes can even dream to break these two apart. For awhile, it starts to smell fruity, sweet pineapples with a spicy, roasted coffee not and an abnormal freshness that can only be described as synthetic. During the drydown, the freshness becomes more herbal, prickly, earthy and then camphor takes over everything. It smells almost like cold medicine, but make it artificial pineapple flavored.
This was one of the worse fragrance I've smelled in awhile. Very pungent, astringent, with a weird pineapple / coffee pairing. Leans way more masculine due to the spicy pineapple and camphor note. I had to go and scrub it off. Sample before buying for sure.
