Am I the only one who perceives "Esencia" as a 1:1 copy of Comme de Garcons "2 Man"? The craftily designed scent from Atelier Vesper (woody, spicy, strong) smells exactly identical. And this is true throughout the entire scent progression. Can anyone confirm this here? This does not speak against the perfume - on the contrary. But for two different scents to smell exactly the same is rare. And unfortunately not innovative. Quite the opposite.
You're right, they are actually very similar. 2 Man used to be one of my favorite scents. With Esencia, I notice a hay note as it develops. But other than that, at least as I remember it, they're practically identical.
