As I said, for me it's a green-smoky chypre with floral elements that are characterized less by 'white flowers' (even though jasmine is included) and more by the 'exotic' frangipani, ylang-ylang, and champaca. The soapy aspect, in my opinion, arises from the interplay of bergamot, coniferous notes, and oakmoss.

*The scent isn't really dark. You should like incense for this, which is somewhat sacred but not smoky. There's a lot of herbal green with soapy clean white flowers. I don't smell any fruits or coffee. Blind, I can't detect any oud. But it's quite woody and forest-like.
