The Spiciness in the Bottle!!!

What a positive first impression that never faded. As soon as I sprayed this on the test strip, I had to get it on my skin. I haven't been this blown away by a fragrance in a long time as I was by this one. I have been searching for "the" scent for a long time, and by now, I have smelled quite a bit and could genuinely enjoy the Dubbi here. So far, it hasn't been enough for a purchase, but I was able to introduce this fragrance to a colleague. I showed him this scent, and he was just as enthusiastic as I was.

However, I wonder why a certain aquatic note is mentioned here on Parfumo, which, as far as I know, was not mentioned anywhere. If you look at the online website of Azya and read something about the fragrance, you can read everything except for a mentioned aquatic note. The liquid does suggest it, but I think the deep blue can be interpreted differently.

Now to the scent: It starts fresh-sweet with what I find to be a not too overpowering apple, accompanied by a certain freshness triggered by the neroli and orange. The heart notes give the fragrance a clean DNA, primarily shaped by iris and eucalyptus. The floral aspect is rather subtle, but you do get a lovely rose in the background. The base, as aptly described on the website, gives the fragrance depth. I can especially detect a spiciness that is beautifully refined by a pleasantly fragrant cashmere and vanilla note. Overall, this results in a lovely scent progression, which is ultimately defined by a base oriental note.
