I read many reviews stating this is smells like chocolate cookies or like a warm, spicy Christmas scent, but that's not what I get at all. To me Eilish is a rather cold, smooth, creamy vanilla without any realistic bakery notes or spices.
Especially the opening smells very minty to me, like many others also noted.
I didn't really think of berries when I first smelled this, because it's not a juicy-fruity kind of scent, but after I revisited the notes list I can sense them. They smell more tart, almost underripe, and a bit like frozen berries that are slowly releasing their scent while thawing. Later in the drydown a layer of powdery dark cacao completes the scent. The sweet vanilla remains the star though. This has a candy-ish undertone and lots of white musks, so I understand the comparison to Victoria's Secret and Bath and Body Works products some people make, but Eilish is more complex and a tad less sweet than those usually are. The final skinscent is almost equally musky and vanillic.
I think this is a good celeb release, it's not just a plain vanilla and has its own little twists. Maybe Billie could have pulled off something even more unusual, but who cares in the end? Even though this won't become my new favorite vanilla (there is a lot of competition in this genre and I like them warmer!), I enjoyed sampling it.
