Back In The Closet for Boy Smells
Since this company got bought out by some "gay investors" (their words, not mine) they've gone back on their unabashedly queer branding. To quote a specific tweet about this rebrand, they've gone from interesting design and ethos to a dequeered "Little pearlescent ELF bars for TikTok influencers to click their nails against". Even so, they rereleased their popper themed fragrance, citrush, and it smells relatively the same as last year. Shame that the rest of their collection has been reduced to Gen Z corporate pride algospeak slop.
As for the fragrance itself, it smells like poppers. As a thirty-something transfemme, i'm well familiar; for those not in the know, it's a light, airy tomato-leaf and lemon sort of scent. Kind of lemon-pepper seasoning adjacent, but less heavy in a way that makes it bearable. I'll wear it to a pride parade and pretend I got it before the rebrand.

P.S. -- this is popper inspired?!?
